Our Commitment to Safeguarding Your Privacy Online

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy online by establishing this Privacy Policy, which explains how Showroomaccess.com, Inc. (“SRA”) collects and uses certain personal information about you as a registered member of the SRA website (“Site”).  As an SRA Member (“Member”), you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy, and consent to our collections and use of your information as described below.  In general, SRA will not share your personally-identifiable information with anyone without your prior knowledge and permission.  Other than the uses described below, and unless you give us your prior consent, we do not share, rent, or sell any of your information to any outside parties, except when necessary to comply with laws, court orders, emergencies or other legal proceedings.

Personal and Anonymous Information: 

SRA collects both types of information from you (1) to personalize your experience on our Site, (2) for editorial and feedback purposes, (3) to analyze our users' behavior in order to understand and meet our Members' needs and interests, (4) to improve the content, quality and operation of our Site and Services, (5) to respond to your questions or requests for help, and (6) to address technological and administrative issues related to the Site and Services.

SRA collects "Personal Information" which means personally identifiable information, such as your name, user name, password and email address, and demographic information, such as your age, your sex and annual income.  In order to permit users to access pricing information, SRA also collects company information such as the company’s name and address, company email address, job function and market category.

SRA collects "Anonymous Information" which  means information that cannot be traced back specifically to you as an individual (i.e. the information does not personally identify you), and includes information about what website you came from, what web pages you go to on our Site, the time, duration and length of your visit on our Site, the type of web browser you use, and the type of computer system you use.  We collect Anonymous Information on an aggregated basis (i.e. data about Members categorized into groups of information) and by converting your Personal Information into Anonymous Information, which is also compiled on an aggregated basis.

Such Anonymous Information comes from your web browser which sends the information to our web server in the form of URLs (website addresses known as a Uniform Resource Locator), referrer Ids (information from your web browser showing us what URL you came from), IP addresses (a number, known as an Internet Protocol address, that identifies your computer, or locates your computer on the Internet, so that data can be sent to your computer), computer system information, and logs of web browsing activities (known as "web logs").  In addition, SRA may use “cookie” technology to capture your activity on the Site.  A "cookie" is a small file that is sent from our web server and stored on your computer hard drive while you are visiting our Site.  Cookies store and retrieve information on your computer about your web browsing activities, such as what website you came from and what web pages you go to on our Site.  For instance, SRA uses a permanent cookie to store log-in information so that a user does not have to log-in each time he accesses SRA’s site.

Children:  SRA's Site and Services are specifically intended for professionals - people age 18 and older.  Therefore, if SRA obtains actual knowledge that any information collected through the Site is provided by anyone under 18, we will inform that child that he/she cannot access the Site or Services, and delete that child’s information from our records.

Data Security:  As an SRA Member, your account information is password-protected.  We highly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone.  Other than upon your initial registration as an SRA Member, SRA will never ask you to divulge your password in written or electronic communications.  We will only ask you for your password when you contact us and only in cases where you request customer service to correct a service problem which requires your password.  Further, our system uses cookies that save your passwords in order to track certain information (as described above).  If a user wishes to change his account information, he should email any changes to SRA at Registration@Showroomaccess.com.

We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our reasonable control, and safeguard the confidentiality of information personally identifying you.  However, we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.  Inadvertent disclosures may result, for example, when third parties misrepresent their identities in asking the Site for access to personally identifiable information about themselves for purposes of correcting possible factual errors in the data.  Please be aware that data transmission over the Internet is not always 100% secure, and we cannot warrant that information you transmit utilizing the SRA Service is 100% secure.  We will, however, use all reasonable efforts to maintain the security of your information on our systems.

Third Party's use of information collected by SRA:  We do not disclose any of your Personal Information unless as described herein or with your prior consent.  In regards to Anonymous Information, we use Anonymous Information for our own internal purposes.  At this time, we do not share this Anonymous Information with our designers, vendors, advertisers and sponsors. 

SRA does not prescreen SRA Member communications, emails or any content distributed through our Site and Service.  Therefore, by using our Site and Services, you, as a SRA Member, understand and acknowledge that SRA is unlikely to be aware of violations of law or other misconduct that could be committed by other SRA Members.  You also acknowledge that you are completely responsible for any information you send via email, or any other form of communications through our system.  As recipients of any communications through SRA's Site or Services, you are responsible for using all reasonable efforts to screen unwanted material and report to SRA any illegal or inappropriate communications. 

Opt-Out Choice: You will have the opportunity to review your information in our Registration Form prior to submitting the form.  If you wish to make changes or additions to your User Profile or User Preferences at any time thereafter please email the changes to Registration@Showroomaccess.com.  You may also terminate your membership with SRA any time by sending an email to Registration@Showroomaccess.com.  Once you terminate your membership, your Personal Information will no longer be used in connection with the Site and Services.

Incorporation By Reference:  This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the terms of SRA’s User Rules and Disclaimers.
